The projects are the construction of a new multi-purpose community center which will function as an innovative community access and networking center to provide public access to high-speed, reliable, broadband internet service to enable work, education, and telehealth, and for the renovating, remodeling and adding additional space to an existing warehouse facility which will be repurposed to house Career and Workforce Education programs to offer specialized training and career development opportunities.

Public Meetings Notice - RFQ 22-01
- Monday, Feb. 7, 2022 (RFQ 22-01): The North Florida College Architect Evaluation Team will open bids from firms that
responded to Request for Qualifications #22-01 Architectural Services For Minor Projects
on a Continuing Basis. Responses from the firms will be evaluated and scored during
this meeting. The Evaluation Team will select, in order of preference, firms deemed
most highly qualified to perform the services. Those firms will be invited to make
oral presentations to the Evaluation Team regarding their qualifications, approach
to projects, and ability to furnish the required services. These proceedings are open
to the public and will occur at the North Florida College Board Room, Building 9,
325 NW Turner Davis Drive, Madison, FL, 32340, on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 2:30
pm.
- Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 (RFQ 22-01): The North Florida College Architect Evaluation Team will entertain oral presentations from selected firms that responded to Request for Qualifications #22-01 Architectural Services For Minor Projects on a Continuing Basis. Firms will be evaluated and scored during this meeting and a recommendation will be made at the next Board meeting after scores are tabulated. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES - MINOR PROJECTS.
The North Florida College Board of Trustees, in compliance with Consultants’ Competitive Negotiations Act, Section 287.055, F.S., seeks qualifications and performance data for professional services. See Procurement Contracts for more details.
Scope of Services:
Professional architectural for design, plans, and specifications for minor projects as approved in the Educational Plant Survey, and/or the College Capital Improvement Plan.
Submittal Requirements:
Firms desiring to provide professional services for the above services shall submit one (1) original and six (6) copies of expression of interest containing all of the requested information by Monday, February 7, 2022, prior to 2:00 p.m. Mail or deliver clearly marked RFQ# 22-01 sealed submissions to:

Selection Process:
Submissions will be evaluated and ranked by the Review Committee and short listed. The committee will then entertain oral presentations by short listed firms prior to evaluating and ranking each firm based on the following criteria: Introduction/Workloads, Quality Control/Communication, Methodology/Schedule. The committee’s ranking will then be presented to the North Florida College Board of Trustees along with a recommendation.
